The 10" stainless steel lid is specifically designed to fit ICON® 10" Skillet and the 4 Qt. Saute Pan; it's the ideal tool for trapping in moisture as you cook. Its stainless steel construction gives the lid a shiny finish, but it's also very durable. The design allows it to heat up slowly while being able to withstand scorching hot temperatures. Stainless steel prevents the lid from rusting over the many years it's in your kitchen. ICON stainless steel lids add to the superior cooking capabilities that ICON cookware has to offer. Whether you're braising meat, hard boiling eggs, or simmering soups, the lid is ready at any time.

Before you re-season your ICON pan, it’s essential to wash the pan in hot soapy water, rinse, then dry thoroughly.
Heat the pan on high heat, then add ½ teaspoon of high heat oil.
Once the oil becomes hot, use a paper towel to spread the oil throughout the interior of the pan evenly.
Take the same oily paper towels and wipe the excess oil around the exterior of the pan (skip step if you are pre-seasoning on a glass cooktop)
Use new paper towel and wipe off excess oil around the pan
Place the pan back onto the burner on medium-high heat for approximately 25 minutes or until the pan is dry inside and out.
Once complete, your pan is now ready to use. The more the pan is used, the better it performs.
Cleaning an ICON pan is easy. After cooking, use a metal spatula to remove leftover baked-on food pieces, then use a paper towel to wipe the interior and exterior of the pan. If food remains on the surface, rinse the pan with hot soapy water and use a bristle brush to remove the rest. Thoroughly dry your pan before it’s stored.
ICON pans are dishwasher safe; however, washing it in the dishwasher, using metal pads to clean, and soaking the pan in hot water will remove the pan’s seasoning and it will need to be re-seasoned before the next use.
After use, you should expect your ICON pan to change color. The change in appearance is due to the build-up of seasoning. You pan will look and cook similar to traditional cast iron or heavy French steel skillet.
ICON® Cookware has a 25-year warranty for consumer use and a 5-year warranty for commercial use. The warranty does not cover warped pans caused by misuse such as quenching a hot pan in cold water and/or leaving an empty pan on a hot burner for an extended period of time. If used properly you will enjoy many years of delectable cooking with your ICON® Cookware!
