Finest Quality Black Tea Leaves Blended with Fruit, Blossoms, and Spices

A cornucopia of winter harvested fruit and spices are blended with fine black tea leaves. Cranberries and orange peel offer a sweet fruitiness while cinnamon and juniper berries lend a spicy finish. Sip and capture the holiday spirit. Black tea is the most common tea in North America. It is produced when withered tea leaves are rolled and allowed to oxidize and dry, developing natural flavor, color, and body in the leaf. Boasting numerous health benefits, black tea contains about half the caffeine of coffee and twice that of green tea. You can buy black tea loose-leaf or in tea bags and the drink is popular iced or hot as a breakfast tea, often enjoyed with sugar, milk, or lemon. The Republic of Tea has created a Tea Revolution - experience fine tea and the Sip by Sip life - a life of health, balance and well-being.

Directions for Use

  • Fill the kettle with fresh, filtered water per cup and then heat to a rolling boil.
  • Warm the teapot by swirling steamy water in it and then pour out.
  • Place one teaspoon of leaves per cup into your pot or infusing basket.
  • Pour the water (6 oz) over the tea leaves and infuse for three to five minutes. Experiment to find your favored steeping time.
  • Pour the tea. Avoid letting the leaves stew. Remove the infusing basket or pour the remainder of the tea into a thermos to enjoy later. Enjoy Sip by Sip.
