It was easy to locate the product I was looking for on the website, ordering was simple and the product was delivered quickly. I appreciate the brands that JL Hufford carries as I will not purchase products made in China. We have a Technivorm coffee maker so the grinder was the perfect accompaniment. Technivorm products are expensive but well made, hand made and NOT made in China
I bought this to replace the Corona grain mill I was using for a coffee grinder. Not only is the Moccamaster grinder less noisy than other electric mills I've used, but it grinds more evenly than typical blade grinders. The only complaint is how the grind recepticle attaches to the mill, it can be tricky to get it threaded right and it falls off.
Grinds more evenly and quietly than a cheap blade grinder. The best test for this grinder is a siphon coffee brewer with a vintage glass rod filter, which I use on weekends. The grinds haven't clogged the glass rod filter, which clogs very easily if too much fine stuff is in the grinds. Of course it works well with the Moccamaster, my weekday brewer.
