Shun Kanso Nakiri Knife – 6.5″
✨ Precision Meets Japanese Simplicity ✨
Experience effortless vegetable prep with the Shun Kanso 6.5″ Nakiri Knife, a Japanese-style knife designed specifically for slicing, chopping, and dicing vegetables, fruits, and herbs 🌿🥕🍎. The word Nakiri translates to “vegetable cutter,” and this knife lives up to its name—perfectly crafted to deliver clean, even cuts every time.
The straight blade, edge, and spine allow for smooth push cuts without the need for rocking, while the blunt, squared tip makes it safer and easier to handle than a traditional pointed knife. Hollow-ground indentations along the blade reduce friction and keep foods from sticking—ideal for thin, precise slices.
Handcrafted in Seki City, Japan, the AUS10A high-carbon stainless steel blade provides exceptional durability, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The heritage finish conceals scratches and develops a distinctive patina with use, while the Tagayasan wood handle—known as “iron sword wood”—offers strength, comfort, and perfect balance ⚔️.
