Use and Care

Le Creuset Silicone Utensils are the ideal tool to use on all cookware as they will not scratch or damage cookware surfaces. The smooth and flexible utensils gently scrape flat and curved surfaces with ease. Follow use and care guidelines to ensure these utensils will last for many years.

Before the First Use

Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the item with hot, soapy water, rinse, then dry thoroughly. 

Heat Limitations

Le Creuset Silicone utensils are heat-resistant up to 482 degrees F/250 degrees C. They are ideal for stove top use only. The utensils should not be left inside or over the pan while cooking. It is best to place them on the side of a pan away from the heat source. Excessive heat will damage the utensil.

Cleaning

Le Creuset Silicone utensils are dishwasher safe. The entire utensil is made of silicone, therefore it is safe to place in the dishwasher. J.L. Hufford recommends cleaning them by hand to prolong the lifetime of the tool.  Use hot, soapy water to clean, rinse, then completely dry before storage.

5-Year Limited Warranty

The warranty covers faulty workmanship and/or materials when the product is used in accordance with use and care guidelines. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use, misuse, or consequential damage. Defective cookware will be replaced free of charge, or replaced with a similar product if the one of equivalent value is no longer in production. Replacement in the same color cannot be guaranteed. The warranty covers the original owner, whether self purchaser or those who receive it as a gift.
