Cleaning
The Bodum Bistro Tea Egg is dishwasher safe. J.L. Hufford recommends hand washing to prolong the lifetime of this tool. Remove all tea leaves from the egg before cleaning. Wash the egg with hot, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly to prevent bacteria build-up.
Warranty
All Bodum products carry a limited one-year warranty on manufacturer defects. Glass is not covered under the warranty. Proof of purchase must be presented in order to verify warranty coverage. Always retain receipt for future records. Items received with broken glass are not considered defective product. Bodum must be notified of any breakage within five business days after the item is received.
