The All-Clad d5 Brushed Stainless 3 Qt Casserole w/ Steamer set is perfect for making any of your favorite casseroles, pastas, or steamed vegetables. The casserole pan allows you to make a variety of dishes, but when you use the steamer insert too, the possibilities of things you can make become virtually endless! Steam broccoli, cook pasta and strain it with ease using this insert. The lid included in the set forms a tight fit with either the casserole pot or the steamer. The pan, steamer and lid all feature a gorgeous brushed look and patented d5 technology. The d5 line boasts an ultra-even heat distribution because of its 5 layer aluminum and steel construction. All d5 pieces also feature flared edges to make drip-free pouring a breeze. The d5 line is approved for use on all cooktops, including electric, gas, and is even induction ready.
Care
- Only use low to moderate heat settings, unless boiling because overheating can cause brown or blue stains.
- Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of oil or butter with these products, but never aerosol because they can damage non-stick coating.
- Do not use in broiler or oven above 500 degrees.
- Dishwasher safe, but hand wash recommended after each use.
- Do not use chlorine bleach based cleansers, or any steel based cleansing pads.
