The Jura-Capresso Impressa S9 One Touch debuts the world's first cappuccino, latte, or macchiato brewed with the touch of one and only one button. Now you can make any type of drink any time you please without moving your cup! Simply press the dedicated cappuccino or macchiato button and the Impressa S9 One Touch will begin frothing and/or steaming your milk, grind, tamp, and brew. It automatically siphons milk from the included stainless steel 20 ounce insulated thermal milk container, combines it with hot steam and delivers hot, frothed milk into your Cappuccino cups. Turn the dial to the latte setting, and the automatic frother will deliver hot steamed milk with very little or no froth for that delicious Latte. Once the programmed amount of milk has been prepared, the Impressa S9 One Touch brews perfect espresso into the very same cup.

The Jura-Capresso Impressa S9, like its big brother, the Jura-Capresso Z6 exudes commercial-quality muscle. At the heart of the Impressa S9 One Touch are DUAL stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boilers. Unlike a traditional boiler, thermoblocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with efficient, on-demand water usage. Turn on the S9, and it will be ready to brew AND steam in just a few moments. ThermoBlock technology channels the water through the heating element while minimizing the amount of water heated to what the S9's user demands. This process ensures water does not become stale sitting in a boiler for an extended period of time. Because the Impressa S9 One Touch has two heating elements, your days of waiting between brewing espresso and frothing milk are over. Jura-Capresso built this machine to be a workhorse, and the S9 is in fact rated for light commercial use, meaning you can run it hard without the fear of wearing it out.
Expansive Live Visual Programming
Not only do you not have to move your cup to make a cappuccino, you do not even need to know its size. With the Impressa S9 One Touch, you can visually program it to remember all of your favorite cup sizes. Rather than entering the size, in ounces, through a program menu, you simply press and hold the cappuccino button (with your cup under the spout) and wait until the S9 One Touch displays "Enough?" When your cup is filled with the desired amount of milk and/or foam, press the button again, and the S9 will remember your setting. Then set your espresso volume and the S9 One Touch will produce your favorite size drink every time. You can always use the Rotary Dial to override the programming without fear of losing your favorite settings; the S9 will revert back on the next brew. This innovative programming feature works on all of the S9's beverage buttons. A special à la carte button is available to more easily make custom beverages every time. Milk and water dispensing can also be programmed, so you can always enjoy the same delicious drink, every time. As an added bonus, the S9 One Touch comes equipped with a dedicated hot water spout, a feature shared only with the S7, Z5 and Z6.

Ultra-Quiet Grinder
The S9 features Jura-Capresso's latest incarnation of its steel burr grinder, which boasts both an exceptionally quiet grind and a beam-monitored bean sensor. That means that the S9 actually monitors the amount of beans in its bean hopper using special active beams, rather than relying on error-prone internal sensors. The Impressa S9's Integrated commercial grade steel conical burr grinder has six settings which allows you to adjust the fineness for all kinds of beans - from light to dark roasts.
Ecological Intelligence
Do want your drinks ready for you at any random moment but do not want to waste electricity? Activate the Impressa S9 One Touch's Energy Save Mode© to lower the temperature of the unit without completely turning it off. Just as the S9 has two heating elements, it also has two energy saving settings: one to turn off the heating element for steam only, and one to also lower the temperature of the ThermoBlock for coffee. The first setting is perfect when you need espresso all day long but seldom require lattes or other milk beverages. The second energy saving setting is great when you will have more intervals between brewing espresso drinks.
Intelligent Pre Brew Aroma System (I.P.B.A.S.©)
The unique two step pre-infusion cycle moistens and conditions the ground coffee, which means maximum flavor extraction with perfect crema topping. With the S9 you can brew one to sixteen ounce cups of coffee in five strength settings. It grinds from 5 to a maximum of 16 grams of coffee from extra mild to extra strong. The S9 will automatically discard up to 16 pucks (used coffee portions) before its puck container gets full.

The advanced Clearyl filtration system prevents water impurities from entering sensitive areas of the machine, causing damage, and altering the taste of the coffee produced. A change filter message will be displayed when it is time to replace the cartridge (about every 8-12 weeks or 20 gallons). The S9 will also prompt you when it is time to clean the machine, so proper maintenance is a breeze.

The S9 One Touch's chrome-plated, height-adjustable coffee spout is one of the most versatile in its class and lets you brew into small espresso cups or in your special Latte Macchiato cups.
