About Certified Pre-Brewed™
All Certified Pre-Brewed™ Saeco coffee machines are units that have been factory serviced at Saeco's exclusive refurbishment facility. The machine was bench tested on all brew functions and repaired, if necessary. Since all refurbished espresso machines are "like new", they have a 1 Year household-use warranty through the exclusive Saeco Refurbishment Facility, Brownbean Distribution, which ensures that your Saeco will be covered for any warranty-eligible repair and post-service shipping costs associated with that repair (to the lower contiguous 48 states) for the first year. Beware of other sellers offering refurbished units that were serviced in-house, as the manufacturer may not honor the warranty for an unauthorized product. These units all come with JL Hufford's 30 Day Satisfaction Policy. User manual included; scoop, brush, and other accessories not present.
New Saeco Adapting System
The Saeco Talea Giro Plus is one of 3 Saeco fully automatic coffee centers to feature the new Saeco Adapting System (SAS). This new technology equips the Talea Giro Plus with a self-adjusting system that allows the use of all types of coffee beans available on the market (not including flavored or caramelized). The auto-sensing mechanism optimizes the grinding and tamping of your freshly roasted coffee, ensuring perfect compression to optimize extraction and create a rich, creamy espresso. This new Saeco Adapting System requires a small amount of learning time in between each new blend or roast of coffee, but once it adjusts, you will see why good things come to those who wait.
Upgraded Ceramic Coffee Grinder
The Saeco Talea Giro Plus features one of Saeco's most unique innovations, a ceramic coffee grinder with a new 5-step adjustment system. After careful research, Saeco chose this material for the Talea Giro Plus to put an end to grinding with metal components. Ceramic is inert, and thus ensures the best results without altering the flavor of coffee. The new ceramic grinder provides an even grind, allowing perfect dosing and blending coffee beans, and giving you more control over the density and body of your coffee. The Talea Giro has a 8 ounce bean hopper with 5 different grinder fineness settings, which will allow you to adjust the strength of your beverage. Long-lasting with minimum noise! Thanks to its sturdy build, the ceramic coffee grinder will quietly go on grinding to the same high standard for a long time. Use the Saeco Opti-Dose® system (1, 2, or 3 beans) to adjust the amount of ground espresso to be used each time you brew. It adjusts from 7 to 10.5 grams (normal to extra strong) and will retain your setting unless you choose to change it manually.
Saeco Brewing System - SBS
The Saeco Talea Giro Plus offers you the same control over the taste of espresso as you would expect to find on upper-tier units. Saeco Brewing System or SBS, Saeco's new patented international exclusive, is the avantgarde technology which has changed the world of coffee machines. This ingenious system allows you to make an infinite variety of coffees from just one automatic machine and at the mere twist of a dial. The SBS dial allows you to actually choose how much flavor and aroma to extract during the brewing process by changing the pressure inside the Talea Giro Plus. In addition, the standard Saeco OptiDose® System allows you to adjust the amount of coffee to be ground for each beverage, from 7 to 10.5 grams (mild to strong). At a fraction of the cost of the Primea Ring and the Talea Touch Plus, the Saeco Talea Giro Plus truly makes an elite coffee center affordable.
Modern Form And Function
Developed by BMW DesignworksUSA, the Talea Giro Plus sports a very sleek look and simple control panel to make your espresso experience enjoyable and entertaining. The Giro interface allows you to choose the amount and aroma of your favorite coffee, the stainless steel drip tray height is adjustable, and thanks to Rapid Steam®, you can create a creamy milk froth in just a matter of a seconds. The Saeco Brewing System give you complete control over the flavor of your beverage. The Talea Giro Plus will automatically grind, tamp, and brew espresso and dispose of the used grinds afterward.
Stainless Steel Rapid Steam® Boiler
The power plant of the Saeco Talea Giro Plus is the Rapid Steam stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boiler. This same technology is found in units such as the Talea Ring Plus. Unlike a traditional boiler, thermoblocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with efficient, on-demand water usage. Turn on the Talea Giro Plus, and it will be ready to brew in just a few moments. The Rapid Steam® function heats the boiler to steaming temp faster than the competition. ThermoBlock technology channels the water through the heating element while minimizing the amount of water heated to what the user demands. This process ensures water does not become stale sitting in a boiler for an extended period of time. When you are ready to steam or froth your milk, simply turn the steam knob, and the Talea Giro Plus will fire up the Rapid Steam and start pouring out steam in about 10 seconds.
Simple, Easy Operation
The Giro Interface is a new innovation available for the Talea Giro Plus, as well as the Talea Ring Plus and other Saeco Super Automatic Coffee Centers. Thanks to its simple design, espresso and coffee brewing is a snap. Simply turn the dial to select the size of your beverage (1 to 8 ounces), select your desired coffee strength from mild to strong or pre-ground, and press the large center (brew) button once or twice for number of drinks. Stand back and let the Talea Giro Plus do the rest for you. Its straightforward communication system features a group of LED lights that will turn on if you need to add water or coffee beans. They will also tell you if you need to descale the unit or empty the used grounds box.
Automatic Pre-Infusion Brewing
Do you like to start your day with an espresso, but don’t want to have to clean up the mess? Just press the button and the Saeco Talea Giro Plus will automatically grind your coffee beans, and dispense freshly brewed, rich and flavorful coffee into your cup. The Talea Giro Plus incorporates the Saeco Aroma System® to extract the full aroma of coffee beans into every cup. A special pre-programmed step injects a small amount of hot water into the freshly ground coffee to start a pre-brewing process. The actual brewing cycle begins about 2 seconds afterward, allowing for enough time to fully saturate the grounds and achieve maximum flavor. Enjoy perfect espresso every time topped with golden crema that fills your senses with the rich warm aroma of truly fine coffee, all in under 60 seconds.
Easy Milk Frothing and Steaming
Creating perfect milk froth can be a difficult task and is an accomplishment to be proud of. The Saeco Talea Giro Plus strives to make the entire job much more simple. The redesigned Panarello milk frothing wand divides steam for milk into three directions forcing more air and steam into the entire pitcher of cold milk. This will allow you to heat your milk faster and more evenly resulting perfect steamed milk for lattes or exquisite micro-foam for cappuccinos. The Panarello wand can also be used to dispense hot water for tea.
Water Filtration
The Saeco Talea Giro Plus can utilize the optional Intenza Water Filter to not only improve the taste of your coffee, but also protect the internal components of the machine. Regular replacement of the Aqua Prima® or Intenza filter ensures the removal of chlorine, lead, aluminum, and copper for a better tasting coffee. It will also reduce the formation of limescale and protect the Talea Giro Plus from the corrosive nature of tap water. The standard 57 ounce water reservoir can easily be refilled while it is still on the machine or by removing it with the easy-grip handle and filling it at the kitchen tap.
Easy Cleanup
The patented Saeco Easy Clean System® removable internal brew group has been tested millions of times throughout the world. It only takes a simple gesture for it to be quickly and easily removed from the machine and cleaned. Just rinse it under running water to remove all traces of dirt and coffee residues, which when left inside the machine, change the flavor of the coffee and interfere with the correct functioning of the brew group. When this cleaning is done in conjunction with the manual descaling cycle, the Talea Giro Plus will produce consistently delicious espresso every time you turn it on.
For Use with Superautomatika® Blend
It's a little known fact that Super Automatic espresso coffee centers brew the best coffee when using only a special kind of bean. While it's true that the Saeco Talea Giro Plus can be filled with most kinds of coffee beans, the greatest flavor and tallest crema are achieved when brewing Superautomatika® Blend, the only coffee crafted specifically for super-automatic machines. The beans that make up Superautomatika® Blend are picked, roasted, and blended solely for use in super automatic coffee centers.
