Product Code: BLENDTEC-TOTAL-BLENDER-DESIGNER

This blender deserves a red carpet entrance for its innovative controls, sleek design, and revolutionary engineering. Introducing the first of the newest class of blenders to incorporate a touch screen interface is the Blendtec Total Blender Designer Series. When the blender is off, you'll only notice a smooth black surface with an illuminated on/off icon. When your fingertip and the icon meet, a plethora of options reveal themselves in the form of 6 pre-programmed blend cycle icons, a pulse and cancel icon, and a manual touch slider which gives you a range of 8 speeds to choose from. Turn the blender off and they disappear into the abyss. The motor has been tweaked to perform quieter and cooler so you can use it longer, while the blender itself sees an extended life. The Designer Series comes with the WildSide blending container and lid, as well as a recipe book. The blender is sure to fit underneath your cabinets at a height of 15", and with its stunning and sleek design you'll surely want to show it off. Available in Champagne Metallic. Made in Orem, Utah, USA.

- Q: Is Blendtec the same as K-Tec?
A: Blendtec is a division of K-Tec, which was the company name before their blenders became so popular. The name change simply made sense.
- Q: Why does the horsepower rating say "Peak?"
A: Peak horsepower describes the maximum capacity of power that a motor can handle.
- Q: How does a 3+ HP Peak Blendtec Designer Series compare to similarly labeled blenders?
A: Though Wattage is the most accurate measurement of a household electric motor's efficiency and operating power consumption, Blendtec's competitors promote their products in terms of horsepower. The Blendtec Total Blender Designer Series consumes 1560 Watts, significantly more than the competition.
