|Name:||Le Creuset 1.8 Quart Classic Whistling Water Kettle - Palm|
Remove all packaging and labels from the kettle. Wash the kettle with hot soapy water before the first use. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Heating the Kettle
Only fill the kettle above the first layer of holes on the interior of the spout. Always use a burner that is similar in size to the base of the kettle. Le Creuset kettles can be used on all cook tops, including induction.
Cleaning and Care
Never place the kettle into the dishwasher. To clean, use hot soapy water, rinse, then dry thoroughly. You may use a gentle de-scaler periodically if desired. Once you're done using the kettle, pour out the remaining water. Standing water inside the kettle may buildup scale and reduce efficiency. Never bang the bottom of the tea kettle onto any surface. Repetitive banging may cause damage to the exterior enamel. Never place the kettle on a heat source without having water inside. Boiling a kettle dry can result in overheating and damage the base of the enamel.
