Rancilio Silvia Upgraded Replacement Boiler and Heating Element Compatibility

This Rancilio Silvia boiler and heating element replacement will work with all Silvias manufactured after 2006. It is important to first check your Silvia for compatibility as parts are non-returnable. Please refer to the image below of the opened top of a compatible Silvia, shown as V2 or V3 - also V4. If you have a V2 or V3, the included wiring harness will extend your wiring to reach the new placement of this boiler heating element. Note that the pipe for steam connects to the top of the boiler (as opposed to the side on a pre-2006, or V1). The image below shows all versions of the Silvia boilers. The boiler to the right is the part for sale. If your espresso boiler replacement matches the one on the left, you must add the extra plumbing kit to make the water connections for your V1 Silvia work with this newer boiler. All previous boiler versions from Rancilio are discontinued, and this is now the only part available for sale.

Silvia Boiler Replacement

JL Hufford was awesome... I'll explain. My daughter's Silvia was in dire need of a boiler. I ordered the boiler kit and had it shipped to my daughters. Then I purchased an airline ticket to go and install it. Well the JL Hufford web site was perfect to explain the boiler I needed but I did not realize we had a V1 boiler until I got it opened up and woops I needed the extra tube kit for the steamer and a union and two copper washers. So I called JL Hufford and they were amazing. They pulled the needed parts and overnight delivered. All worked out wonderful. Great company support, you don't always get. Keep up the good the work... your Customers do know it and appreciate it. Also a little more. If you are replacing the boiler, I'd recommend replacing all three thermostats; its easy to do. And there are two copper washers (1mm and 1.5mm thickness) for the union for the fill and overflow valve. The 1mm goes on the boiler side, the 1.5mm goes on the fill valve side. These washers seal the union and more importantly makes sure the tightened-up assembly puts the fill valve in the proper orientation.
