SHIPPING TYPES:
After an order is processed, it is shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. If you
prefer that a particular type of courier deliver your package (UPS, USPS, or FEDEX only), please indicate this in the "Special Instructions"
section of checkout.
JL Hufford is currently only a national retailer, shipping only to the United States.
Our shipping capabilities do not allow us to ship internationally or to PO Boxes, FPO or APO boxes.
Please Note: If you
suspect that a package has been damaged in transit, please
contact us immediately so
that the appropriate action can be taken.
STANDARD SHIPPING
TIMES AND FEES:
If you did not select
an express type of shipping, we will ship your order standard ground.
Ground shipments going to a residence may be delivered without a
signature unless "Signature Service" is requested at checkout.
If you do not request "signature service", then you are giving the
courier permission to drop the package off at the recipient's address
without a signature. Once the courier indicates that the
package has been dropped off, JL Hufford and the courier have no
responsibility for lost or damaged packages. For this reason, we
strongly advise that you select "signature service" if you want to
ensure that someone at your residence signs for the package.
All orders whose total
is greater than $50.00 receive FREE standard ground shipping (No Tax Policy);
all other orders are charged a flat $5.99 fee for standard ground
shipping. This fee schedule holds true only for the lower
contiguous 48 states. Shipping to any other destination may
require additional fees. To inquire about such shipments, please
contact JL Hufford support at (877) 554-8336. If we shipped your
order standard ground, then you can expect it
to arrive no later than five business days beginning with the first
business day after your order was shipped.
Please note: "standard ground shipping" does not include signature
service.
EXPRESS SHIPPING*:
SECOND DAY SHIPPING:
During checkout, you may choose to have your order shipped 2-Day Express
for an additional charge. If you placed an order
for 2-Day Express shipment, then you can expect it in exactly two
business days, beginning with the first business day after your
order is shipped.
OVERNIGHT SHIPPING:
During checkout, you may choose to have your order shipped Standard Overnight
Express for an additional charge. If you placed an order
for Standard Overnight, then you may expect your order on whatever
business day immediately follows the business day upon which your order
was shipped.
*Please note: If your
order is placed with overnight shipping selected, you may not get your
item the very next day. For instance, if you place an order on a
Friday, your order will not come on Saturday or Sunday since these are
not business days. Too, if you place your order on a Tuesday at
3:00 pm, your order will not arrive on Wednesday, since 3:00 pm is after
our shipping day. Please go here to review our order processing

DROP-SHIPMENTS:
Sometimes part of your order is not shipped from our Lafayette, IN
warehouse, and is instead shipped from a manufacturer or fulfillment
facility. Such shipments are called drop-shipments. Whatever part or your
order was drop-shipped has a distinct tracking number from any
part of the order shipped from our Lafayette, IN warehouse. In the
event that your order contains shipments from distinct warehouses, tracking ids
for each portion
will be provided to you in separate emails. If you are uncertain if part of
your order will be drop shipped, please contact us prior to
ordering. Drop shipped orders may take significantly more time to "process" prior to shipping
than non-drop-shipped orders. The
following is a list of items that may be drop shipped: Bosch,
Briel, Jura-Capresso, Espressione, Ghirardelli Coffee, La Pavoni, Nespresso, Nuova Simonelli,
Pasquini, Rancilio, Saeco, Solis, Russell Hobbs, Vita-Mix.
TAX: Tax is not collected on purchases unless the order is shipping to Indiana. It is the customer's responsibility to handle all sales tax regulations, if applicable, for states other than Indiana. The only exception to this policy is any order for a Vita-Mix 5000 or 5000 Super. Orders for these models of Vita-Mix will be taxed based on the purchaser's state.

TRACKING NUMBERS:
We email the FedEx, UPS or USPS tracking number for your package to the email
address you submitted during checkout. You receive the tracking
email when or soon after
your order ships. Until you receive this email with the tracking
id, your order is in "processing". You can log in to
your account at any time to check the status of your order, or to view
and track the tracking id(s) associated with your order. Log in to

email from us, or have lost or erased that email, please
contact us with your order id in the subject heading, and a request
for your tracking number in the body of the email, and we will send you
your tracking number to the email address that you specify. |
