JL Hufford processes most orders placed prior to 1:00 PM the same business day. Business days are Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed after 1:00 PM ET are processed the following business day. Specific products which require additional processing time are indicated on the product page. Additionally, products that are shipped directly from the manufacturer may also require additional processing time. If an item on your order is out of stock, we will notify you by e-mail or phone for direction on how to proceed. Pre-order products are indicated on the product page and ship as soon as we receive stock.
When your order is placed, your credit card is authorized for the order amount. Payment is collected upon shipping, but may also be collected prior to shipment to reserve stock for pre-order or temporarily backordered products.
JL Hufford strives to ship all orders the same business day. We currently ship to the United States and most products to Puerto Rico. Our shipping capabilities do not allow us to ship to other countries.
All orders will be shipped Standard Ground or Super Saver unless an Express type of shipping is selected at checkout. You may choose to have your order shipped 3-Day, 2-Day, or Overnight Express for an additional charge. The package is guaranteed to arrive in three business days, two business days, or one business day, respectively, beginning with the first business day after your order is shipped. Saturday and Sunday are not counted as business days. For Saturday delivery, Overnight Shipping with Saturday Delivery must be selected. JL Hufford is not responsible for delays by the shipping courier due to inclement weather, natural disaster, or catastrophe, and all shipments are subject to the applicable shipping carrier's own shipping policies.
Ground shipments going to a residence may be delivered without a signature unless Signature Service is requested at checkout. If you do not request Signature Service, then the courier has permission to deliver the package to the shipping address without a signature. Once the courier indicates that the package has been delivered, JL Hufford and the courier have no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. We strongly advise that you select Signature Service to ensure that someone at your residence signs for the package. JL Hufford reserves the right to request Signature Service with the courier for orders containing items of significant value.
Orders may be shipped via FedEx, FedEx SmartPost, UPS, or USPS. If you prefer a particular courier listed above to deliver your package, please indicate in the Special Instructions section of checkout (additional charges may apply).
All orders greater than $49.00 receive Free Standard Ground Super Saver (determined by weight of packages) shipping to the contiguous 48 States. Orders less than $49.00 are charged a flat $7.99 fee for Standard Ground or Super Saver shipping to the 48 States. Signature Service will be offered at checkout for an additional $3.50 on all Standard Ground shipping orders. Express shipping rates are quoted at checkout. These fees are applicable for the lower contiguous 48 states. Shipping to Alaska, APO, DPO, FPO, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico addresses may require additional fees. As soon as tracking numbers become available to us, they are input into your order. You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email for each package to the email address submitted during checkout. You can log in to your account at any time to check the status of your order, or to view and track the tracking id(s) associated with your order.
