JL Hufford is pleased to offer this program as a way to reward the
loyalty of our customers. There are no annoying forms to fill out or memberships to renew. Simply
create an account and/or place an order from our website and you are automatically placed in the
program. From that point, just purchase a JL Hufford Rewards product to accumulate points.
- For every dollar you spend on
JL Hufford Rewards products, you will receive three (3) points in
your account. JL Hufford Rewards products currently include all JL Hufford coffees and teas,
Big Train chai teas, Illy espresso pods, specialty foods, Tea Forte & Republic of Tea products.
- Every time your account contains 500 or more points, you can log into your account to
redeem your points. A rebate certificate will be displayed and the discount applied to an order
placed within 90 days of point redemption.

JL Hufford reserves the right to add to and/or change the
these Terms & Conditions at any time. We can, for example, add to or subtract from the
number of points earned per dollar spent, add or remove products from the program, or
terminate the entire program at our discretion.
Only purchases of
JL Hufford Rewards products
will earn points. Points are accumulated in an account at checkout, under the specific
email account used, and are not transferrable to other accounts, redeemable for cash,
or exchangeable for points in any other program operated by JL Hufford or another entity.
Once redeemed to rebate status, the rebate or any portion thereof may not be converted
back into points.

Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Part of the JL Hufford business model is a customer-centered
approach where we try to create a positive shopping
experience by providing exceptional prices & promotions for
repeat customers, a highly intuitive website design, and
friendly customer support. To that end, we determined
which products were most likely to be reordered and then entered
the majority of them into this program. Many of our customers are
small businesses who order very large quantities of chai and
coffee. This gives them a rebate on top of our
guaranteed lowest prices. So, although JL Hufford will
make less profit in the short term, in the long run we
intend to attract more customers and retain those high volume customers.
Q: Which products can earn someone points?
A: Such products are called “
JL Hufford Rewards products”.
Currently coffee, tea, chai, cocoa, and iced coffee.
Examples of such products are Big
Train chai tea and iced coffee mix, JL Hufford flavored and
unflavored gourmet coffees, JL Hufford Espresso Beans, Illy, Lavazza, and
Ghirardelli coffees, coffee and tea gift packs, Tea Forte
tea infusers, and Republic of Tea tins and bulk tea.
Q: How many points do I get?
A: For every dollar you spend on a
JL Hufford Rewards product, 3 points are
deposited into your account.
Q: I never set up a JL Hufford Rewards account, but I did purchase some Points
products, how can I get my points?
A: If you have already ordered with us, you were automatically entered into the
JL Hufford Rewards program and do have an account.
If you have lost your password, then go to
http://www.jlhufford.com/myaccount.asp and click on
"Forgot your password?", and your password will be emailed to the email
address you provided. Once you have your password, go back to
http://www.jlhufford.com/myaccount.asp and log in.
You will see the number of points we have automatically
deposited into your account for all purchases.
Q: I don't want want to purchase anything now, but I do want to create an account
and learn about "double point day" and other promotions; how
can I do that?
A: Go to
http://www.jlhufford.com/mailinglist_subscribe.asp, and follow
the directions for setting up an account. The next
time you order, you can log in with that account when
prompted.
Q: How will I know how many points I have?
A: You can log into your account, located at
http://www.jlhufford.com/myaccount.asp, and your total
current points will be displayed.
Q: How do I convert points into savings?
A: Log into your account and click on the "Redeem Now" link.
Then select the rebate certificate amount that you want to receive (note, you don't
have to use all your points). After pressing the redeem button, your
rebate code will be associated with your account. Any
time you log in to your account, your certificate will be
remembered by our system and applied when you checkout. The
code is good for a discount for up to 90 days. You must have
accumulated at least 500 points in order to
redeem points for a rebate.
Q: Can I turn in my JL Hufford Rewards rebate for points if
I don’t use it up in time?
A: We don't have a way for you to do this through your
account, but if you decide you don't want to use a rebate
code you created, email support@jlhufford.com
and request that your rebate certificate amount be
transferred into points.
Q: Will my points ever expire?
A: No. Although, the JL Hufford Rewards rebate certificate that you receive
for your points has a 90 day expiration date.
