Espresso
Blend
is the finest in Arabica and Robusta blended espresso for
European style espresso shots. The
bean is carefully roasted until first crack, then our 100%
Arabica beans are again roasted until a second crack, which
brings out the full aromatics--just enough for optimal crema
extraction. A blend of dark and medium dark South
American, Indian, and African beans is used. Then we add the perfect amount of fully
washed Robusta for a tall crema. It will literally
burst out of your porta-filter.
For
American espresso lovers, we have devised a 100% Arabica
blend, called Espresso Roast, a medley of
mostly South American and some African beans with a bold flavor and crisp snap.
JL Hufford Superautomatika
Blend™ is our specialty. This blend is the most ideal
coffee on the market for superautomatic coffee centers from Jura-Capresso,
Saeco, Solis, and Bosch. It combines the finest Indian
and South American Arabica along with a premium reserve
fully washed Robusta. The flavor is mild and buttery,
with very low acidity. It has the optimal amount of
oils and moisture such that it won't clog grinders as other
blends tend to do in superautomatics. It is perfect
for both espresso and crema coffee drinks.
In addition
to our carefully crafted JL Hufford Espresso blend, we also
offer Lavazza coffee and Illy coffee, two of the only
non-JL Hufford Coffees we offer. Our expectations for great
coffees are so high that only Lavazza coffee and Illy coffee
had any chance getting onto the shelves in our stores and
the pages of our website. Both Lavazza and Illy make coffees
capable of producing a Hufford-style crema along with a
delicious flavor. Like JL Hufford Espresso Blend, both
coffees can be used for either semi-automatic or
super-automatic espresso makers.
