About JL Hufford Coffee Beans
When selecting our gourmet coffee beans, our master roasters
look at all aspects of coffee bean processing. After finding a coffee plantation that meets
the highest standards, gourmet coffee samples are brought back to the lab. Using state-of-the-art
testing equipment and trained coffee cuppers, many aspects of the beans are analyzed;
a few of which are the moisture percentage, the number of defects, average bean size,
and most importantly, the actual cup quality.
After employing such rigid quality control standards,
JL Hufford selects from only the top 3% of the world's highest quality gourmet coffee beans.
We purchase only 100% Arabica beans (unless otherwise specified in some espresso roasts).
Only the plumpest, freshest, most flavorful coffee beans are roasted and packaged fresh
to order. At JL Hufford, you will only find the highest quality gourmet flavored coffee,
Fair Trade, organic, and single origin coffees.
