My grandmother happens to be a huge fan of tea and when I quickly realized that her birthday was rapidly approaching, I went off in search of a new tea maker for her. I stumbled across the
Bonjour Insulated Tear Drop Glass Tea Maker and thought that it looked like it would do the job for her. It works the similar to French Press coffee makers and has a shut-off infuser, so that the filter will traps the hydrated leaves below the brewing line of the basket. This allows you to have more control over the brewing process. All that you add is 3 to 5 teaspoons of loose tea to the basket and fill the teapot up with 27 ounces of hot water. You let the tea steep for about 3 to 7 minutes, press it like you would with a french press and pour. The double wall feature with this tea maker keeps your freshly brewed tea hot longer than a traditional pot. This was the perfect fit for my grandmother and she absolutely loves it!
