Have you ever wanted to make your own homemade peanut butter? Now you can, if you have a Vita-Mix unit! You will need only 24 ounces of either Roasted Peanuts or Cashews. You will place your nuts in the container and secure the two-part lid by locking it under the container tabs. Make sure that you remove the lid plug. Now you are going to set the speed to HIGH. Turn on the machine and insert the accelerator tool through lid. Use accelerator tool to push nuts into blades. You will hear a change in the sound of the motor until butter begins to flow freely through blades and process is complete (about 1 minute). Serve or store in the refrigerator in an air-tight container for future use.
