We typically get questions about what is the difference between a home and a commercial blender. With a home blender you do get a longer warranty. Currently both Vita-Mix and Blendtec have a 7 year warranty for their blenders, except for if you are looking at the Vita-Mix TurboBlend. The TurboBlend only has a 5 year warranty. With a commercial blender, the warranties vary by which one you are looking at. If you are unsure how long it is, make sure that you scroll down the webpage and it will tell you. Home units also give you a cookbook that you wouldn't receive with a commercial unit. The cookbook has several different categories from beverages to soups and sauces for several different items that you can make in your blender. Also with commercial products, you do get a shorter return policy, which is only 7 business days. With a home product you have a 30 day return policy.
