My wife is a big fan of starting traditions.  Our first Christmas together she insisted on making gingerbread.  We attempted designing the miniature cut outs with sprinkles frosting and candy.  Hers turned out better than mine (of course) but it neither of ours turned out to be very pretty. The décor was off balanced, the lines were messy and we really just had a random collaboration of utensils that we used in this project.  This inspired me to put some effort into this concept because I know she really enjoyed the time we had together and it would be something she could look forward to the next year.  I looked for some cookie cutters and came across the Kuhn Rikon Stainless Cookie Press & Decorating Set with Storage Box.  I could not think of something more perfect to get her. Includes 16 different cookie disks, decorating bottle, and decorating spatula all nicely organized in a storage box.  We will be able to use this on any pastry that we desire to make fancier. I can’t wait to give it to her!
