Apple Pie (Lisa’s recipe)
7-8 apples, sliced (I use Red Rome or Jonathans)
juice of ½ lemon
¼ C Aspen Mulling Spices
½ C brown sugar—les if apples are sweet
¼ C butter cut up and dotted in the apples
1 T flour—a little more if the apples are juicy
--Mix all ingredients and place in a regular double pie crust recipe.
Flute top layer.
--Bake at 400° for 10 minutes; then reduce to 350° for 50 minutes.
