Sweet Pepper & Jalapeno Jam

Sweet Pepper & Jalapeno Jam

As a Baste:
·         Spread over chicken breast, or pork. Then bake or grill until done.
As a Relish:
·         Serve alongside duck, goose, or any wild game (GREAT).
As an Hors d’oeuvre:
·         Spoon over cream cheese and serve on crackers. 
·         Spoon over the Brie cheese and bake in the over at 425 degrees F for 15 minutes an serve on crackers.
As a Sandwich Spread:
·         Use instead of mayonnaise on a cold meat sandwich. You’ll be surprised!

Key Lime Breezer

Key Lime Breezer

1 package Key Lime Smoothie Mix                                           8 oz. white tequila

3 oz. triple sec                                                                               About 2 ½ cups ice

Pour tequila and triple sec into blender.  Add smoothie mix.  Blend for 15 seconds.  Add ice a cup at a time.  Pulse until smooth.  (If too thick, add a bit of water or more tequila!  If too thin, add more ice.)

Fuzzy Navel Smoothie
1 package Orange mango Smoothie Mix                                    8 oz. Peach Schnapps
½ cup orange juice                                                                          About 2 ½ cups ice
Pour schnapps and juice into blender. Add smoothie mix. Blend for 15 Seconds. Add ice a cup at a time. Pulse until smooth. (If too thick, add a bit of orange juice or vodka! if too thin, add more ice.)

Scarlet Sunset
1 package Pomegranate Smoothie Mix                                                 8oz. White rum
2 Splashes – lime juice                                                                   About 2 ½ cups ice
Pour rum and lime juice into blender. Add smoothie mix. Blend 15 seconds. Add ice a cup at a time. Pulse until smooth. (If too thick, add a bit of water or more rum! If too thin, add more ice.)

Apple Butter Pie

Apple Butter Pie
Filling:
·         Mix 9 oz apple butter and ¼ cup flour
·         Add to 6 - 8 cups peeled, cored and sliced tart apples. Blend all together and put into crust. Dot with butter.
Pie Crust: Can use store bought or try this one.
In food processor add:
3 Cups flour
1/2t. salt
1 T. cinnamon
6 T sugar
2 sticks very cold butter
Blend all till crumbled in food processor. Then add ¾ cup ice cold apple juice or apple cider. Blend all till comes to a ball. Divide in half, roll out to make top and bottom crust. Can brush on egg wash of cream and egg to top crust. Then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.

Pineapple Mandarin Jalapeno Jam
 
As a Baste:
·         Spread onto Chicken, Pork, Fish, or Duck. 
·         Bake or grill until done
 
As an hors d’oeuvre:
·         Spoon over cream cheese and serve with Crackers
·         Spoon over Brie Cheese and bake in over at 425 degrees for 15 minutes and serve with crackers.

Pumpkin Butter

Pumpkin Butter
No Bake Pumpkin Pie:
·         In a mixing bowl empty one 9oz jar of JL Hufford’s Pumpkin Butter, one 8oz cream cheese and one cup cool whip. Blend together until smooth and pour into a no bake Graham Cracker pie crust. Refrigerate for 2 hours then serve.
As a Dip:
·         Using the same recipe as above, but omit the pie shell, and instead serve with Ginger Snaps or Animal Crackers.
As a Spread:
·         Use on Waffles or Pancakes, also great with Bagles.

  • Great as a topping over ice cream, Waffles, or Pancakes.

Raspberry Jalapeno Jam

Raspberry Jalapeno Jam

As a baste:

  • Spread over chicken breast or game hens and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Spoon over beef brisket [5 to 7lb.] Cover with foil and bake 300 degree for 4 hours. 
  • Next, remove foil and baste with sauce juices.  Bake an additional hour at 350 degrees.  Serve.  [Delicious!]

As an hors d’oeuvre

  • Spoon over cream cheese and serve with c rackers.
  • Spoon over Brie cheese and bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees.  Serve with crackers.
