Swiss Diamond HD Induction Stockpot with Lid

Overview

Ideal for stews, the Swiss Diamond HD Induction Stock Pot with Lid is a long-lasting and extremely durable pot that will become a kitchen favorite. Using Swiss Diamond’s patented advanced technology, the non-stick surface is crafted from diamond crystal composites. These composites make the coating resilient, meaning it won’t crack, peel, or blister with use. Diamonds are an excellent heat conductor, and with its pressure cast aluminum body and sides, this pot has an amazingly balanced heat distribution to guarantee no hot spots and help prevent burning. The extra thick and flat bottom heats quickly, saving you energy. Because of the natural non-stick properties in this pot, it is a healthier choice since you won’t have to add additional oils or fats. The lid features tempered, vented glass that allows convenient see-through cooking. For a piece of cookware that lasts a lifetime, choose the Swiss Diamond HD Induction Stock Pot with Lid. This line is safe for induction heating sources. Oven safe up to 500°F. Dishwasher safe; hand wash recommended. Lifetime warranty. Made in Switzerland. Swiss Diamond 6124i, 6128i.
About Swiss Diamond

About Swiss Diamond

Founded in 1974, Swiss Diamond International Sarl is a private company located in the Swiss Alps. Using the demand for more efficient and improved non-stick cookware as inspiration, Swiss Diamond engineered an innovative type of non-stick coating that utilizes real diamond crystals—which is the hardest material known—and they patented the technology. In 2006, the company sought to improve their revolutionary technology and spent four years researching and testing. In 2010, Swiss Diamond released their advanced HD coating line, which features a 30% overhaul. All current products are manufactured using the new HD coating.
Swiss Diamond Induction Cookware

HD Induction Line

If you own an induction heat source, be sure to choose the HD Induction line. This line uses the same world-famous, patented Swiss Diamond technology as the standard line with minor improvements for induction. It has magnetic properties that are designed for remarkable efficacy on induction cooking surfaces. The advanced technology assures that your cookware is energy efficient and quiet. That “buzzing” sound that some aluminum-based cookware makes on induction cook tops is non-existent. The line features the patented diamond crystal-infused coating. This technology came to exist because: diamonds are extremely durable, giving the coating more resistance; diamonds function better as a heat conductor since it is four times more conductive than copper and creates a perfectly balanced heat distribution; and diamonds have natural non-stick properties.
Swiss Diamond Use and Care

Care

  • Do not use sharp utensils or abrasive cleaners, as this may damage the coating.
  • Use only low to medium-high heat settings. Never use the highest 25% of heat settings on your stove top.
  • For example, if your stove has heat settings from 1 to 10, never use a heat setting higher than 7.5.
  • Clean your pan thoroughly after each use with warm soapy water.
  • No oil is needed with a Swiss Diamond pan! If you choose to use butter or oil for flavor, use on the proper heat setting.
  • Oils heated above their smoke point will break down and deposit carbon on the cooking surface.
  • Do not store acidic or high-sugar foods in your cookware, as this may damage the coating.
