I love this blender jar. it works wonderful for making savory stews. it fits on all Vitamix models with the correct centering pad. When preparing chunky fresh Savory Stews there is no need to blend at high speed since you are slicing the fresh veg, so it will be easy on your motor. It does work best if the blade is razor sharp. if you need your blade sharpened let me know.
