Not as good as previous models	July 22, 2010

I have owned three Capresso machines. I traded in the C1000 for a refurbished S8. I bought the Z5 new for another home. The S8 (and the C1000 before it) brew a far superior cup of coffee. I don't know what they changed, but using the same amount of coffee and water in both I do not get the same flavor (it tastes thin) or crema on the Z5 as on the other two. Very disappointed because it's so much more expensive. And I can't return it because there's nothing technically wrong with it. It's just an inferior product.

I give two stars because it is very cool to be able to brew a cappucino without moving the cup.

I've had this machine for nearly 6 months now. Both my partner and I love this machine, as it makes a consistently perfect cup of coffee or espresso. I also love the hot water feature. Heats cups and makes a cup of tea faster than in a microwave oven.

Impressa Z5 keeps pumping out great coffee	May 29, 2007

I bought this machine in the fall 2005 and have brewed over a thousand coffee's latte's and espresso's. There is one thing this machine is and that is consistant. No mechanical failures. I keep it clean and use the recommended filter. We love this machine. The only downside is that we can't go out and enjoy coffee served from anything else. Definitely the best purchase we have made for this much money.

I was lucky enough to win one of these in a Lexus Magazine competition. We formerly had a nice Krups machine. When this one was delivered - it blew us away. There is really nothing wrong with this thing. The milk is heated instantly from being cold - the pump pressure is ready in about 1 1/2 seconds, you can adjust everything. The red control knob is as easy as BMW's iDrive should have been. The cleaning for milk and coffee spouts is fantastic and easy (with the machine telling you what button to press, which spout to put something under etc. And the last thing - and the most important - the coffee is fantastic - great crema, even the temperature and strength by coffee type is adjustable to taste. Just can't say how good enough this machine is. We also won the cup warmer - and that's a statement in itself!

No, I don't own one but at woodfield mall they have a display model. I drink free coffee every time I go there. It's great. I'd love to get one. When I retire I WILL get one.
