Great machine with the one flaw being the temperature of the milk (coffee temp is fine). Evaluated several options before setting on this one including Philips/Saeco Xelsis and Exprelia and the DeLonghi Magnifica S ECAM 23.450.SL (also sold by JLH).
Chose this machine over the Saecos for the dimensions as the Perfecta is much more compact in every dimension and a better fit under kitchen cabinets. Additionally, I found the brew groups of the Saecos to be a bit more fragile and lighter on inspection when compared to the DeLonghi units. Chose this over the cheaper Magnifica as the Magnifica has less programmability in addition to having a side-access brew group. It should be noted that the brew group of the DeLonghis are much easier to remove and re-insert than the ones in the Saecos.
