Anyone who's thinking of a Blendtec blender- this unit is great! You probably don't need the full 3 hp of the solo Blendtec blender and with this, you get a mixer that is way better than a KitchenAid for a price that is less than one of these units alone. This was a no brainer for me. You will love both units in one and want to use them daily. Height is still under 16 inches and easily fits under counter. Motor is a 1000 watts at full speed, which is more than enough. I am so glad I got this instead of just a Blendtec blender only. The mixer bowl is deceptively small, but holds a lot. Mixer tools are all dishwasher safe and very easy to use by attaching to the shaft through the center of the bowl. Very heavy duty. It will mix more dough than you can carry in your wallet!:) You will not be disappointed in these units built together as one. Come on, you know you want it..
