I've got to admit...we were a bit nervous about purchasing a refurbished unit. Now, I just wish we would have done it sooner! :) We have had the unit for nearly three years now and it brews the perfect coffee every time. We are very impressed with our F-9 Impressa.

We have now since middle of May 2008 a certified pre brewed Impressa F9! Everytime when we needed to get in touch with customer service from JL Hufford or Capresso, we got a quick and helpful response.
We were very nervous too, about ordering a pre owned machine! But! It brews great Espressos, Latte Macchiatos and Coffees.
Of course the machine needs lots of "love"/ maintenance. But you get as a reward for that a great product!
I used before Espresso machines from SAECO and Bialetti and I am now very happy with our JURA Capresso F9.

It's been a year since we purchased our Capresso F-9. No problems, just great coffee! The machine has performed flawlessly, and maintenance has been a snap.

Just make sure you empty the grounds every day. I discovered that the tray jams if it overfills.

According to the site below and based on a F9 owned for almost 2 years by a friend the F9 should have Internet Capabilities to make programming easier.
The machine I received does not.
It appears that the F9 is sold with different features in different countries???

Unbeliveablely good coffee & espresso!	November 25, 2009

I must admit, I was skeptical about spending this much money on a coffee machine. But after I took the 'plunge' and bought this machine 'F9' I am so impressed I have been spoiled beyond belief! When I entertain and ask my guest's what kind of espresso they like then deliver to them the BEST drink they have ever tasted, they are just speechless! I am so spoiled, I have not gone back to my local espresso bar since I set the F9 up. The only complaint I have is, how do you make this thing portable, so I can take it with me!?!

I give this machine 6 stars if I could!!

If you are like me and hard to please when it comes to value and features, this is the coffee machine for you!

I bought this machine a year and a half ago from Hufford as a 'prebrewed' for $999. I love this machine. Never had any problems with it - and we make about 10 cups a day.

The initial unit I received was defective, but Capresso sent a replacement unit immediately - we then returned the defective unit. The new unit has been in operation for almost 2-months and we are elated with the F9 - we purchased the Frother Xpress + and we more than pleased with our purchase
