We only got this yesterday, so I can't talk about long-term durability yet. The operation and appearance are great though - it looks good with our other appliances and is easy to use for frothing and brewing. The coffee is good too. I'm using a medium-roast bean from our local gourmet food store. Medium grind/normal strength seems right. We'll have to experiment longer to get that totally tuned. Even with this little time, we're already enjoying better espresso and cappuccino than we can get anywhere else in town. We're very happy with it.
The only complaint I can think of to make at this point is that it is fairly loud in operation. The grinder is a bit quieter than our standalone burr grinder, but the brew pump is a good bit louder than the one on a Briel we used to have. It's not objectionably loud though, and it looks to be much better made than either our grinder or old machine.
I'll try to post in a few months after we've had more experience with it.
