All New Advance Container
The Vita-Mix PBS Portion Blending System Advance now comes standard with the new Advance Container, the latest innovation for their most advanced commercial blenders. Vitamix has (now stay with me here) advanced upon the square design of the discontinued XP/MP container and replaced it with a more efficient triangular shape that decreases blending times, thus saving wear and tear on your blender. Additionally, Vita-Mix has redesigned the container with a new No-Drip spout and splash-guard locking lid, and a new twin bearing Advance Blade that lasts 50% longer than older models. This 64 ounce container comes with the Advance blade and lid and has markings to 48 ounces. This update is now standard on the new PBS Advance item numbers 1691 and 1692. Older PBS Advance units sold elsewhere ship with the discontinued XP container.

Already equipped with Vita-Mix's workhorse 2 HP variable speed motor, the Portion Blending System also sports one of the industry's only top-loading ice bins. Fill the bin with up to 5 gallons of ice and see immediate gains in productivity. Employees no longer have to run to the ice maker or cooler every time they need to make a frozen beverage. The overhead bin and its shaver motor will automatically feed the exact amount of ice required for each drink into the blending container and then immediately blend drinks to perfection. It even alerts you using the LCD screen if the ice level gets low. Create up to 4 drinks (60 ounces) at once and program the Portion Blending System Advance to remember your most important recipes.

The Vita-Mix Portion Blending System Advance is as simple as it is capable. Even powerful machines need be easy to operate, and the PBS Advance does not disappoint. This Vita-Mix is fully programmable for not only blending speeds and times, but also for ice dispensing. You will be able to easily set the 6 beverage buttons to suit your needs. There is also a button for blending only and one for ice shaving only. The PBS Advance will operate at any of 93 built-in speed settings for all of your custom blending needs.

Surrounding the motor is a sturdy ABS plastic body that withstands abuse and is easy to clean. The PBS Advance puts food safety first with its NSF-Certified polycarbonate XP Container.  It's UL Listing ensures compliance with building and electrical codes. The 2-piece heavy rubber lid locks into place and has a cap on top which allows you to add ingredients while the PBS Advance is running. This Vita-Mix blender features Smart Technology, with built-in overheating protection and a total drink counter for daily, weekly, monthly or yearly totals.
Warranty And Support
Like all Vita-Mix machines, this Portion Blending System Advance is built to last. Due to the size, weight and heavy use inherent with this unit, Vita-Mix offers 2 warranty options: 1 Year parts only (Item 1691); or 1 Year parts AND labor (Item 1692). Other warranties may apply outside the US and Canada. This Vita-Mix commercial blender dispenser is backed by JL Hufford's Satisfaction Policy for Commercial Products which provides for a 7 day use and evaluation period, a courtesy which is unheard of in the commercial equipment industry. |
