In addition to all the food processing tasks that the Vitamix 5200 performs, one if its most common functions is as a frozen drink and dessert maker. The 2 HorsePower (peak) motor and Wet Blade work together to cut through ice without hesitation. Super thick drinks can be made with less liquid; you may need the tamper. For best consistency, use frozen ingredients that are warmed to just below freezing. Add more ice or frozen fruit and make fresh ice creams and sorbets.
