If you are looking to make your Rancilio Silvia V3 more versatile when it comes to frothing milk, try this single hole frothing tip. The first Silvia V3s to come off the boat in 2009 had a 3-hole frothing tip. Depending on your style and technique, 3 holes may not suit you, so Rancilio made a replacement 1-hole tip that their own tests reveal to be a better choice. This is a genuine Rancilio part, not aftermarket, so you can rest assured that installation and compatibility is not an issue. This tip now comes standard on all new Rancilio Silvia V3's that we sell and also the Upgrade Kit for older Silvias.

This genuine Rancilio 1-hole removable steam tip is found on the new Silvia V3s starting June 23, 2009. It will also fit the Rancilio Epoca. Rancilio originally released the Silvia V3 with a 3-hole tip but has since backpedaled after tests revealed the 1-hole tip outperforming the 3. In addition, the 1-hole tip is more convenient for dispensing hot water. This tip is not compatible with V2 and older Silvias unless you replace the steam valve and wand to the V3 Valve Assembly.
