About Certified Pre-Brewed™
All Certified Pre-Brewed™ Saeco coffee machines are units that have been factory serviced at Saeco's exclusive refurbishment facility. The machine was bench tested on all brew functions and repaired, if necessary. Since all refurbished espresso machines are "like new", they have a 1 Year household-use warranty through the exclusive Saeco Refurbishment Facility, Brownbean Distribution, which ensures that your Saeco will be covered for any warranty-eligible repair and post-service shipping costs associated with that repair (to the lower contiguous 48 states) for the first year. Beware of other sellers offering refurbished units that were serviced in-house, as the manufacturer may not honor the warranty for an unauthorized product. These units all come with JL Hufford's 30 Day Satisfaction Policy. User manual included; scoop, brush, and other accessories not present.
Easy Touch Screen Brewing
The Saeco Talea Touch is one the few Super Automatic Coffee Centers in the world built with an interactive LCD touch screen control panel. The Talea Touch control panel is operated via a shaded gray-scale touch sensitive LCD screen. Every beverage choice is plain to see and in clear view. The Talea Touch has 3 programmable beverage icons on the screen along with an icon for steam and hot water. The touch screen also provides access to the in-depth menu which allows for total programming and setting of every possible machine function.
Milk Frothing Made Easy
The Saeco Talea touch employs its Panarello frothing wand to steam and froth milk manually, but with assistance. This special wand divides the steam jet in 3 separate directions to enhance the frothing process. The Panarello wand can also dispense hot water for tea with absolutely no waiting time.
Programmable Touch Screen Icons
The Saeco Talea Touch is designed to make every aspect of your coffee enjoyment convenient, especially programming. Every possible beverage programming option is available at your fingertips on the touch screen display. The Talea will walk you through each programming step, allowing you to set the quantity of coffee to be dispensed, and also change the temperature and pre-infusion aroma of your beverage. Innovative live beverage programming allows you the option of setting your beverage volume while the Talea Touch is brewing, so you can stop and set the machine when your cup is filled at exactly the level you desire, up to 8 ounces. The touch screen menu also grants access to the automatic maintenance features of the Talea Touch. With the press of your finger, you can activate brew group cleaning, and boiler descaling cycles and keep your Talea Touch running at top form for years to come.
Endless Flavor Possibilities
The Saeco Talea Touch offers you the same control over the taste of espresso as you would expect to find on upper-tier units. Saeco Brewing System or SBS, Saeco's new patented international exclusive, is the avantgarde technology which has changed the world of coffee machines. This ingenious system allows you to make an infinite variety of coffees from just one automatic machine and at the mere twist of a dial. The SBS dial allows you to actually choose how much flavor and aroma to extract during the brewing process by changing the pressure inside the Talea Touch. In addition, the standard Saeco OptiDose® System allows you to adjust the amount of coffee to be ground for each beverage, from 7 to 10.5 grams (mild to strong).
Stainless Steel Rapid Steam® Boiler And Hot Water
The power plant of the Saeco Talea Touch is the Rapid Steam stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boiler. Unlike a traditional boiler, thermoblocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with efficient, on-demand water usage. Turn on the Talea Touch , and it will be ready to brew in just a few moments. The Rapid Steam® function heats the boiler to steaming temp faster than the competition. ThermoBlock technology channels the water through the heating element while minimizing the amount of water heated to what the user demands. This process ensures water does not become stale sitting in a boiler for an extended period of time. When you are ready to make milk-based beverages, simply choose your drink, and the Talea Touch will fire up the Rapid Steam and start pouring out frothy milk in about 10 seconds.
Automatic Pre-Infusion Brewing
The Talea Touch incorporates the Saeco Aroma System® to extract the full aroma of coffee beans into every cup. A special pre-programmed step injects a small amount of hot water into the freshly ground coffee to start a pre-brewing process. The actual brewing cycle normally begins about 2 seconds afterward, allowing for enough time to fully saturate the grounds and achieve maximum flavor. The Saeco Talea Touch grants you the ability to adjust the amount of pre-infusion time for that extra bit of tweakability. Enjoy perfect espresso every time topped with golden crema that fills your senses with the rich warm aroma of truly fine coffee, all in under 60 seconds.
Brewing Pre-Ground Coffee
Do you want to try a decaf roast or perhaps a different blend without having to empty your bean hopper? A lid on the top of the Talea Touch can be lifted to reveal an opening for ground coffee. Just choose the "pre-ground" option with the Ring control, then deposit a scoop ground coffee into the opening on top of the machine, then press the brew button. When you are ready to brew again, the Talea Touch resets to using the beans already in the hopper.
Ceramic Coffee Grinder
The Saeco Talea Touch boasts Saeco's innovative ceramic burr coffee grinder with an 8 ounce bean hopper. After extensive research, Saeco began designing its newest super automatic machines with ceramic cutting burrs, thus ending generations of metallic grinding wheels. Ceramic is inert, allowing for no added heat during grinding. Less heat, in turn, means purer, fresher flavor. The new ceramic cutting burrs also produce a more precise grind with 3 fineness settings, meaning ultimate control over the body of your coffee. And it's tough, to boot! On account of its robust build, the ceramic grinding wheels will not wear down as quickly as metal burrs. Thanks to the ceramic construction, the Saeco Talea Touch can grind much more quietly than other brands of super automatics.
Dual Rapid Steam® Boilers And Hot Water

Aqua Prima® Water Filter
The Saeco Talea Touch can utilize the optional Intenza water filter to not only improve the taste of your coffee, but also protect the internal components of the machine. Regular replacement of the Intenza filter ensures the removal of chlorine, lead, aluminum, and copper for a better tasting coffee. It will also reduce the formation of limescale and protect the Talea Touch from the corrosive nature of tap water. The standard 57 ounce water reservoir can easily be refilled by removing it with the easy-grip handle and filling it at the kitchen tap.
Premium Extras
The Talea Touch includes an electronic adjustable drip tray with aluminum grate that moves up or down to keep cups just beneath the brewing spouts. Activated by a light touch of your finger, the motor will automatically raise or lower the tray to the desired height, depending on how tall your coffee cups are. Did you know that a cold coffee mug can lower the temperature of your brewed coffee by ten degrees or more? The Saeco Talea Touch's skid resistant heated cup surface helps you keep your coffee cups at an optimal temperature. The active cup warming surface can be enabled or disabled from the digital control panel. Also, a weighty espresso machine can be a bit unwieldy to operate. Saeco remedied this problem by incorporating unique rollers on the base of the Talea Touch. The rolling base enables easy access to every part of the machine; you can quickly remove the water tank, open the side service door, or wipe down the back of the unit.
Easy Cleanup And Maintenance
he Talea Touch monitors your use and will alert you via the LCD screen when you need to perform any automatic cleaning cycles, so the days of marking the cleanings on the calendar are officially over. The patented Saeco Easy Clean System® removable internal brew group has been tested millions of times throughout the world. It only takes a simple gesture for it to be quickly and easily removed from the machine and cleaned. Just rinse it under running water to remove all traces of dirt and coffee residues, which when left inside the machine, change the flavor of the coffee and interfere with the correct functioning of the brew group. This simple cleaning, when done in conjunction with the automatic descaling brew group cleaning cycles ensures the Talea Touch will produce consistently delicious espresso every time you turn it on.

It's a little known fact that Super Automatic espresso coffee centers brew the best coffee when using only a special kind of bean.
