Improve Taste And Prevent Damage
Your coffee consists of over 99% water. Unless you are using softened, filtered water or an Aqua Prima filter in your Saeco Super Automatic Coffee Center, you run the risk of not only altering the taste of your gourmet coffee, but also exposing your machine to lime-scale build-up. Scale build-up within the machine can interfere with proper working conditions after only several months of use. The Aqua Prima filter is Saeco's answer to the problem of scale build-up and bad taste due to poor water quality. Saeco Aqua Prima filtration technology eliminates more than half of the impurities found in regular tap water and well water. Depending on frequency of use, you should replace your Aqua Prima water filter every four to eight weeks.
