Baratza Preciso
The Baratza Preciso has made its mark on the coffee community since its release in the fall of 2010. Built upon the original Virtuoso platform, the Preciso debuted a new set of conical burrs that dramatically improved grind consistency and throughput. The Preciso also boasts the revolutionary Macro / Micro adjustment for precise tuning of grind fineness to match a particular espresso blend to any espresso machine. As an added bonus, the Baratza Preciso includes the Portaholder as an option for grinding directly into an espresso portafilter if the standard ground coffee bin does not suit your needs.

Silvia is Rancilio's semi-professional machine. It offer excellent service to demanding connoisseurs of high quality coffee beverages, qualities for which, since 1927, the Rancilio company has been known and appreciated around the world. From the compact bottom footprint to the extra hot cup warmer on top, the name of the game is metal with this machine. Even the drip tray is stainless steel. Inside the Silvia's stainless steel body is a cast iron frame that houses a massive, 12 oz brass boiler for ultimate corrosion resistance. The Rancilio Silvia V3 is loaded with professional features such as its commercial group head and portafilter and 3-way solenoid pressure relief valve. The Silvia V3 has more steam power than any home unit in its price range.
Warranty And Support
The Baratza Preciso Grinder has a 1 year warranty through Baratza couple with the best toll-free manufacturer support in the business and a no-hassle repair/replacement policy. The Rancilio Silvia V3 is warranted against defects in parts and workmanship for 2 years with JL Hufford. This service contract includes free labor at JL Hufford's service facility and covers internal parts excluding replaceable parts such as the group head gasket, portafilter basket, and shower screen. Any damage resulting from abuse, misuse, mishandling, lack of maintenance, or catastrophe will not be covered. This includes damage to the boiler heating element, which only happens when a user does not ensure the boiler is fully charged with water upon startup or after steaming. This warranty applies only for household use in the United States. Commercial use will void the warranty. JL Hufford will pay for shipping after warranty service to the contiguous 48 states only, extra shipping charges will apply for Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico.
