Nespresso U Espresso Maker with Aeroccino Plus Automatic Milk Frother is a compact set that lets you make espresso based beverages your way. The Nespresso U is a one-touch capsule system espresso machine that allows for multiple set ups, and is ideal for smaller spaces. The 24 oz water tank can be positioned on either the back or the sides of the machine—whatever works best in your kitchen! The magnetic drip tray can also be moved to either the front or the side of the unit. The Thermoblock technology and 19 bar pressure pump system combine to heat quickly and produce barista quality servings of espresso. Post-brew, the nozzle retracts back into the unit to prevent drips and spills. This amazing machine also has an eco mode that shuts of the machine after 9 minutes of disuse. Programmable settings allow you to select either 24, 40 or 110mL sized servings; the machine will automatically remember your preferred serving size. Use the included Aeroccino Plus Milk Frother to froth hot or cold milk to add to your drinks. Frothing only takes the touch of a button and a brief 60-70 second wait. Nespresso Coffee Capsule System

Nespresso machines use the patented Coffee Capsule System. The Nespresso capsules package some of the finest freshly ground coffee in the world, in a way that no light or air penetrate the casing. The hermetically-sealed aluminum capsules are coated with a food-grade shellac to prevent contact with the metal and coffee. Nespresso goes to extreme measures to ensure these coffee capsules remain fresh for an extended period of time. Brewing is effortless: Load the capsule. Push the button. Automatic perforation of the capsule allows for water to pass through, and a high pressure 19 bar pump extracts all 900 aromas and flavors. Water is heated to the correct temperature electronically, and exceptional engineering allows for the optimum flow and distribution of the water through the ground coffee.

Eco Mode

Select Nespresso machines have an Eco Mode, that automatically shuts off the machine after 30 minutes of disuse. During the 30 minutes it takes to shut off, the amount of power being used is gradually reduced until the unit is completely off. This feature is sure to save you money!
