Modern Design
The La Pavoni Espresso Si is designed for comfort and ease of use, as well as good looks. Beginning with a beautiful metallic pearl gray finish, the Espresso Si is compact yet A generous 36 oz water reservoir, fial holds enough water for a dozen shots before its time to refill. The machine is accented by a polished metal drip grid that covers an ABS plastic drip tray. Three rugged rocker switches, one for power, one for brewing, and one for steaming, mean making espresso, cappuccino, and latte couldn't be easier. In addition, a water level site is located behind the steam wand. This handy feature means that you don't have to open the reservoir in order to see how much water is left.
Easy Brewing Portafilter
The portafilter is the handle device that holds the ground coffee. The La Pavoni Espresso Si makes use of a special 6 oz pressurized polished aluminum portafilter. Whereas traditionally, espresso brewing has been an exacting art requiring precise coffee type, coffee grind size, and tamping pressure, the La Pavoni's pressurized portafilter is forgiving enough for beginners. The Espresso Si's 53 mm portafilter comes equipped with both a single and double portafilter basket, as well as a pod basket for ESE espresso pods. Brewing espresso is no longer a time-consuming ordeal.
Heavy Duty Brewing System
Although espresso machine boilers can be made out of different metals, some metals, like aluminum, corrode easily and can add unpleasant flavor to the espresso. The 5 oz. boiler in the La Pavoni Espresso Si is made out of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, for optimal heat retention and resistance to corrosion. The Espresso Si also features an ULKA pump which makes it extremely quiet.
Easy Milk Frothing
Steaming milk for lattes or frothing for cappuccinos is simple with the Espresso Si. The included Panarello froth-assisted steam wand tip mixes steam with air and divides it into multiple directions to vigorously agitate the milk into a fine foam. Don't want foam, submerge the tip completely into the milk.
Warranty And Support
The La Pavoni Espresso Si comes with a one year warranty. It starts with a one year parts and labor warranty through the manufacturer and importer and covers internal parts excluding replaceable parts such as the group head gasket, portafilter basket, and shower screen. Any damage resulting from abuse, misuse, mishandling, lack of maintenance, or catastrophe will not be covered. This includes damage to the boiler heating element, which only happens when a user does not ensure the boiler is fully charged with water upon startup or after steaming. This warranty applies only for household use in the United States. Commercial use will void the warranty. Additionally, all La Pavoni espresso machines are backed by JL Hufford's 30 Day Satisfaction Policy. |
