Revolutionary Hydraulic Brewing System The Krups XP7225 features the latest design in brew group technology, exclusive only to Krups equipment. The new integrated compact brewing system is hydraulic driven rather than powered by a motor that can wear out over time. This design not only cuts back on noise, but also achieves a better tamp to create the optimal brewing environment. In addition, Krups engineers placed the Thermoblock boiler directly beneath the brewing chamber to deliver hot espresso on the first cup, and consistently hotter coffee compared to other brands of espresso makers. Krups has been awarded more than 13 patents for this innovative technology.
Stainless Steel Heating System Krups engineers built the XP7225 to heat up faster than most machines on the market today. They did this by creating a compact Thermoblock boiler. Made from die-cast aluminum with stainless steel piping, this 1450 Watt boiler is at brewing temperature in under a minute, and its shorter water circuit and placement beneath the brew chamber eliminates the dissatisfying "lukewarm" espresso. The stainless steel lining also resists scaling and does not impart any flavor to your water.
Commercial Quality Conical Burr Grinder The Krups XP7225 wouldn't be complete without properly ground coffee, and its grinder more than satisfies. The XP7225's conical grinding burrs are precisely manufactured from commercial grade, hardened steel and then balanced to grind coffee finely and consistently, a very important feature for brewing espresso. In addition, you may choose from 3 grind settings to match espresso brewed on the Krups XP7225 to your fine taste.
Integrated Water Filtration The advanced Claris filtration system prevents water impurities from entering sensitive areas of the machine, causing damage, and altering the taste of the coffee produced. A change filter message will be displayed when it is time to replace the cartridge (about every 6-10 weeks or 13 gallons). The Krups XP7225 will also prompt you when it is time to clean and descale the machine, so proper maintenance is a breeze.
Large Capacity Coffee Bean Hopper While most super automatic espresso machines allow you to pour in about a half pound of coffee beans, the Krups XP7225 will hold up to 20 ounces!! Additionally, if you happen to prefer darker roast espresso, Krups included a special "ramp" to keep those oily beans from sticking to the hopper and not falling into the grinder.
Hassle Free Warranty Krups supports their products with the highest level of customer care. The Krups XP7225 has its own dedicated Toll-Free support line open 6 days a week. Krups customer service has a group of specially trained espresso experts, and if they cannot solve your problem over the phone or via email, they will pay to ship your XP7225 both ways to and from their service center, with parts and labor included for a period of 1 Year from date of receipt. Additionally, all new Krups products are backed by JL Hufford's 30 Day Satisfaction Policy. |
