The Jura-Capresso Impressa C9 One Touch produces flawless cappuccinos or lattes brewed with the touch of one and only one button, in addition to brewing espresso and crema coffee. Now you can make any type of drink any time you please without moving your cup! Simply press the dedicated cappuccino button and the Impressa C9 One Touch will heat to steaming temperature while it grinds the espresso beans and tamps the ground coffee. The C9 will then begin frothing and/or steaming your milk directly into your cup. Once the programmed amount of milk has been prepared, the Impressa C9 One Touch brews perfect espresso into the very same cup without you ever having to move it. Visual Programming
Take a look at your coffee mug. Do you know its size in ounces? With the Jura-Capresso C9 One Touch, you can visually program it to remember all of your favorite cup sizes. Rather than entering the size, in ounces, through a program menu, you simply press and hold the beverage option you would like to set (with your cup under the spout) and wait until the C9 One Touch displays "Enough?" When your cup is filled with the desired amount of coffee, milk, foam, or hot water, press the button again, and the C9 will remember your setting. This brilliant programming feature also works for the milk or the one touch cappuccino buttons. You can always override the programming without fear of losing your favorite settings; the C9 will revert back on the next brew.
Easy To Use
Whoever said that having more features on an espresso and coffee center makes it harder to use has not had the privilege of brewing with the Jura-Capresso C9 One Touch. Not only does it offer the one touch cappuccino/latte beverage button, but it also gives you coffee and espresso buttons for 1 or 2 cups or shots. Easily program your coffee strengths and beverage sizes and even choose between a normal or high temperature setting. The maintenance menu is simple to navigate, and the C9 One Touch even will alert you if you need to perform tasks such as changing the filter, refilling the beans and water, or cleaning and descaling the machine.
Intelligent Pre Brew Aroma System (I.P.B.A.S.©)
The unique two step pre-infusion cycle moistens and conditions the ground coffee, which means maximum flavor extraction with perfect crema topping. The Impressa C9's integrated commercial grade steel conical burr grinder has six settings which allows you to adjust the fineness for all kinds of beans - from light to dark roasts. It grinds from 5 to a maximum of 16 grams of coffee from mild to strong. The C9 One Touch will automatically discard up to 16 pucks (used coffee portions) before its puck container gets full.
Stainless Steel Boiler System
At the heart of the Impressa C9 One Touch is a stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boiler. Unlike a traditional boiler, thermoblocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with efficient, on-demand water usage. Turn on the C9, and it will be ready to brew in just a few moments. Want to froth milk? The C9 One Touch heats to steaming temperature in about twenty seconds. ThermoBlock technology channels the water through the heating element while minimizing the amount of water heated to what the C9's user demands. This process ensures water does not become stale sitting in a boiler for an extended period of time.
Integrated Pure Water System (I.P.W.S.©)
The advanced Clearyl filtration system prevents water impurities from entering sensitive areas of the machine, causing damage, and altering the taste of the coffee produced. A change filter message will be displayed when it is time to replace the cartridge (about every 6-10 weeks or 13 gallons). The C9 One Touch will also prompt you when it is time to clean and descale the machine, so proper maintenance is a breeze.
Professional Auto-Cappuccino Spout
This is the milk control on your Impressa C9 One Touch. It automatically siphons milk from the included 14 ounce stainless steel insulated thermal milk container, combines it with hot steam and delivers hot, frothed milk into your Cappuccino cups. Turn the dial to the latte setting, and the C9 One Touch will deliver hot steamed milk with very little or no froth for that delicious Latte. Use the programming function to set your favorite level of steamed milk or froth.
Feature-Rich Operation
The Jura-Capresso Impressa C9 comes loaded with all the features you could expect from such a deluxe model. The C9 automatically rinses itself upon start-up to prevent that dreaded cold first shot of the day. Enter a desired start-up time, and the C9 will be ready to brew when you wake up or arrive home. A bypass doser for pre-ground coffee provides the user a hassle-free method to quickly change to a different roast or decaffeinated.
