Simple To Operate All Functions
Just because the DeLonghi Caffe Nero BCO264B performs multiple functions does not mean that it must be difficult to use. The dial on the left operates the espresso and cappuccino features while the buttons surrounding the LCD screen operate the drip coffee brewer. Your drip coffee can be programmed to automatically brew, eliminating any unnecessary wait times in the morning. Additionally, the Caffe Nero has separate water tanks for the coffee and espresso boilers, so you don't have to play the guessing game on how much water to add.
Pressurized Espresso And Pod Brewing
The Caffe Nero brews rich, aromatic espresso using DeLonghi's Patented Sempre Crema Filter. DeLonghi designed the filter holder to ensure proper brewing pressure of about 9 bars to produce a perfect, caramel colored crema layer. The Caffe Nero can brew either one or two 1 ounce shots of espresso at once, or it can also accept single shot E.S.E. (Easy Serving Espresso) Pods for a no-mess alternative. We stock both Lavazza and Illy espresso pods. These baskets measure approximately 52.5 mm in diameter.
Easy Cappuccino Frothing System
Produce rich, velvety microfoam for cappuccinos with ease on your Caffe Nero using DeLonghi's patented frothing wand. Designed to save you time and headache, the Caffe Nero's wand has a special tip on it that circulates more air into your milk to help you make cafe quality froth without hours of practice. The steam wand can also be used to steam milk for lattes or to dispense hot water for tea.
Drip Coffee Flavor Savor™
Brew 1 to 10 cups of fresh, aromatic coffee with ease on the Caffe Nero. DeLonghi installed separate controls to simplify the process. Choose manual brewing by simply pressing the power button, or set the 24 Hour programmable timer to brew automatically. The Caffe Nero boasts a unique Flavor Savor™ brewing system that alters the flow of coffee out of the brew basket to thoroughly saturate and steep the grounds for a full, robust aroma every time you brew. For added flexibility, turn the AccuFlavor dial above the brew basket to adjust from mild to strong aroma.
Stainless Steel Boiler
Whether you are brewing coffee or espresso on the DeLonghi Caffe Nero, stainless steel is the only metal to touch the water, which prevents your fresh water from ever acquiring a metal taste. The drip coffee is made using the standard steam percolation to drive piping hot water into the brew basket, and a 15 bar pump pushes water for the espresso through a potent 1100 Watt stainless steel boiler. The 7.44 ounce capacity provides the necessary hot water for brewing as well as the appropriate capacity for steam power.
Easy To Maintain And Clean
Staying true to the theme of "Easy to Use," the DeLonghi Caffe Nero makes cleanup a breeze, and even prevents messes with its handy anti-drip features. The espresso filter holder is designed to fight drips and the Pause 'N Serve feature allows you to pour a cup or two of coffee while the Nero is still brewing, all without spilling a drop. The drip tray beneath the espresso spouts removes for easy cleaning, as do each of the water tanks.
