Also known as a naked portafilter, we consider this the perfect tool to fine tune your espresso shots. A properly milled filter holder with full chrome plating reveals the bottom of the included 21 gram triple shot filter basket (or your existing single and double baskets) to indicate where you may be having problems with your grinding, dosing, and tamping of the coffee. This is a great teaching teaching device to train your baristas out of any bad habits! Your patience and practice will pay out in spades if you are using freshly roasted espresso blends. Use this bottomless portafilter with most 58mm grouphead espresso machines at home or in your coffee shop. Compatibility below.

This Bottomless portafilter was made specifically for the Rancilio Silvia and any of the current and discontinued Rancilio commercial espresso machines. It also fits Ascaso 58mm espresso machines, Wega, ECM, Rocket Espresso, Vibiemme, and all Faema-style E61 Groupheads. It includes a 21 gram triple shot basket but holds other 58 mm portafilter baskets.
