This Blendtec Sound Enclosure Gel Pad Gasket is the perfect accessory for installing your Blendtec blender into the countertop when using the Blendtec sound enclosure. This is not a required part for the installation, but it does reduce vibration and noise and also prevents liquid from seeping under the counter and finding its way onto the motor. A mild adhesive keeps the gasket securely in place and attached to the enclosure while still allowing you to remove the blender motor for service or reprogramming.
