About The Refurbished Blendtec Smoother ICB3
These refurbished Blendtec Smoother ICB3 Blenders were once used in world's busiest coffee shops and served them well for many years. As is the case with large food service operations, identical equipment is purchased and used, and then replaced across the board to ensure the employee training regimen is the same at every store, as well as the final blended beverage presented to the customer. The blenders were sent to Smart Surplus and have been completely combed through and rigorously tested to ensure proper operation. Parts were replaced as needed, and unsatisfactory units were discarded. It is to be expected to see signs of use and wear on the outside of the unit as well as the included used blending jar. The drink cycle counter has been reset to zero and these Blendtec Smoother ICB3 blenders carry a 6 month / 10,000 cycle warranty (see warranty details at bottom of page).

The patented muffling motor stand is proven to reduce blender sound by 10 decibels which amounts to a reduction in sound output of 10 times. This design features a more durable hinge that significantly improves overhead clearance requirements, a whopping 6 inches off the old design! Countertop Built-In or Tabletop Operation
The Blendtec Smoother ICB3 Blender is designed to offer your business the most versatile blender at an affordable price. The Smoother ICB3 Blender can operate from its portable base, and it can also be set into a hole cut into your countertop, taking a whole 6 inches off its height. Only 25.5 inches of clearance is needed for on-counter operation and a mere 19.25 inches for in-counter mounts. The Blendtec Smoother ICB3 can use a special in-counter gasket to dampen vibrations and reduce sound even further. If your business regularly travels to catering events, the Smoother ICB3 also saves you money as you can pull it out of your counter and take it with its base. It's like having two blenders in one!
Automatic Programmed Blending
The Blendtec Smoother ICB3 Blender features No Tend™ Smart TouchPad controls. Designed to be as simple as humanly possible, the Blendtec ICB3 has 4 preset buttons with programmed blending cycles. The number 1 and number 2 buttons are labeled for single and multiple drinks. Individual high and low pulse blending buttons are available as well. This combination worked well for these busiest coffee shops for many years, so it should function well in many other smoothie and coffee shops. 13 Amp Direct-Drive Motor
With the Blendtec Smoother ICB3, the days of half-blended smoothies or overheated motors is over! The Smoother ICB3 comes configured with either 13 Amp, 1500 Watt (3 HP peak) motor. This motor is powerful enough to turn ice into snow and blend any common frozen beverage. If you regularly travel with your blender (i.e. catering), this 13 Amp model would be ideal if you are unsure of your destination's available electric circuits.
Optional BPA-Free Blending Jar
The Blendtec Smoother ICB3 comes equipped standard with a used J1 polycarbonate 64 ounce jar with 3 inch blade and hard lid. Blendtec engineers have developed the most efficient jar shape whose design allows ingredients to bounce off the sides of the jar and back into the blending vortex instead of chasing them around in a circle. Easy Clean-Up
The Blendtec Smoother ICB3's blending jars are dishwasher safe (top rack) and can also be cleaned by adding 2 cups of water and 1 drop of dish soap to the container. Hold the pulse button for 5 seconds, rinse, and you are finished! To clean the touchpad, simply wipe with a damp cloth. It is sealed to be watertight, so you do not have to worry about damaging the electronics.
Refurbished Warranty
This refurbished Blendtec Smoother ICB3 features a 6 month, 10,000 cycle warranty (whichever comes first) provided by the refurbishing company, Smart Surplus. The included jar, which has been previously used, is not under warranty. Any new jars purchased fall under the 1 year Blendtec commercial warranty through the Blendtec Factory. In addition, Blendtec's out-of-warranty motor exchange program (fee based) does apply to the Smoother ICB3 in the event of motor failure outside of the warranty provided. The Blendtec Smoother ICB3 is also backed by JL Hufford's Satisfaction Policy which provides for a 7 day use and evaluation period, a courtesy which is unheard of in the commercial equipment industry. |
