The Ascaso factory continues to improve upon milk frothing performance with the new Ascaso Single Hole Steam Wand Tip. In 2010, they came out with a 3 hole tip that some users enjoyed while others did not. Ascaso listened to its customers and responded with a 1 hole tip that slows down the frothing process, which is especially useful with the thermoblock steam boilers found on the Steel DUO series. Older Ascaso Steel espresso machines feature a steam tip with a frothing aid that is helpful for novices but creates some limitations for those who have grown beyond the need for assistance and would like to froth just like a professional barista. This new 1-Hole tip is now included with the Ascaso Steel DUO Professional Series and the Love Red Dream UP as well as the Polished Aluminum Dream UP Espresso Machines sold by JL Hufford, and it can also be purchased to upgrade your existing Dream Versatile or Steel machine. It works on BOTH older style and newer style steam wands, and is made in Spain. Ascaso part number I891.
