Commercial Construction
The Vitamix TurboBlend 1782 Two Speed is built just like their basic commercial 2 speed blender: robust and durable. The powerful 2 HP (peak) motor connects to the container with a Metal-to-metal (not rubber or plastic) container-to-base drive coupling. The special drive socket protects the motor from seizure in the event a spoon or other hard object is dropped into the container during operation. The TurboBlend 2 Speed motor is housed in a very tough ABS body that also resists fingerprints. The four tine Wet Blade is laser cut from a single piece of stainless steel and mounted on a stainless drive shaft with sealed ball bearings. The BPA-Free Eastman Tritan 64 ounce container is shatterproof and chemical resistant.
 Smoothies and Frozen Desserts
Though it can do so much more, the Vitamix TurboBlend Two Speed is most commonly used for blending smoothies and other frozen beverages. The sheer amount of ice and other frozen ingredients shut down lesser blenders, but the TurboBlend 2 Speed powers right through them. If you want it super thick, use less liquid; you may need the tamper. For best consistency, use frozen ingredients that are warmed to just below freezing. Add more ice or frozen fruit and make fresh ice creams and sorbets.
 Sauces and Purees
The Vitamix TurboBlend 2 Speed banishes the most dreaded hassle of inferior blenders when it comes to sauces and purees: unwanted chunks. The High Speed generates enough friction to bring soup up to serving temperature without any added heat source. Simply toss in the required ingredients, secure the lid, start on Low speed before moving to High, and you’ll have a delicious, whole vegetable soup with no peeling or seeding required! To make a chunky soup, ingredients may be added on low speed during the last few seconds.

Like all Vita-Mix machines, this TurboBlend Two Speed is built to last. It comes with a 5 year warranty for household use against defects in parts and workmanship.
