The K-741 Drip Coffee Maker brews into a 10-cup (European 4 ounce) glass carafe using a copper heating element which quickly and accurately heats the water to a range of 198° and 205°. Built to last with an aluminum body and matte silver finish, the K-741 like all Technivorm Moccamasters are handmade and individually tested in a live situation to ensure their craftsmanship and quality parts meet the company's rigid standards. Safety features include an Automatic Shut-Off when the water tank is depleted, as well as an Auto Shut-Off of the warming plate after 100 minutes. To avoid that nasty burnt coffee tasted associated with most low-end glass brewers, Technivorm made a cycling warming plate which keeps the coffee at a steady and warm 185°. Brews 10 European cups (40 oz). BPA-free. Handmade in the Netherlands. Five year warranty!
