Convection Cooking
Because the Krups FBC2 is a convection oven, you receive all of the benefits of a toaster oven with the bonus of convection cooking. The FBC2 works with fan-circulated hot air to distribute heat faster and more evenly. Food cooks 20 to 50% faster for a perfectly browned outside and moist, juicy inside. This is perfect for foods like lasagna, meats, pizza, and basically anything else that you want crispy on the outside and either moist or flaky on the inside. You can even cook on both racks at the same time!
Large Internal Capacity
Cook for an entire family using your Krups Quartz Convection Toaster Oven and its 0.5 cubic feet (14 liters) of space. To put it more plainly, you can prepare 6 slices of toast, a 12-inch pizza, cupcakes or muffins in most 6-cup muffin pans, or some kind of casserole or meal in a Pyrex 11 cup baking dish. Compared to using your large oven, you stand to use considerably less electricity with the Krups FBC2.
Multiple Cooking Functions
The Krups FBC2 serves many purposes in the kitchen. Choose Bake (150-450F), Bake with convection, defrost, broil with high or low setting, and of course Toast with 9 levels of browning for precise and convenient cooking. The FBC2 employs an illuminated LCD control panel with easy-to-use controls and high quality soft-touch buttons, and includes a timer that ranges from 1 to 90 minutes with automatic shut-off.
Cleaning and Accessories
The Krups FBC2 Convection Toaster Oven includes two wire racks, a broil tray, a non-stick baking pan, and thermal resistant tongs. The non-stick inner walls of the FBC2 wipe clean easily after every meal. The slide-out crumb tray can be hand washed as needed. No abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals are needed to clean the FBC2 or its parts.
