The Blendtec HP3A comes with our exclusive Smart-Touch Tec-nology™ which means when a cycle button is pushed, the HP3A automatically speeds up and slows down, then shuts off when the cycle is complete, so recipes turn out perfect every time. The HP3A has 4 pre-programmed preset cycle buttons and allows you to choose out of 25 specifically designed programs from smoothie and juicer to ice cream, soups and grinding, and many other food processing tasks. This is a significant upgrade over the 6 available programs on the old Blendtec Total Blender. Manual speed control and pulse blending buttons are also offered to give you the ultimate level of control over the entire blending process. Blendtec engineers have developed the most efficient jar shape whose design allows ingredients to bounce off the sides of the jar and back into the blending vortex instead of chasing them around in a circle. Easy Clean-Up
The Blendtec HP3A's blending jar is dishwasher safe (top rack) and can also be cleaned by adding 2 cups of water and 1 drop of dish soap to the container. Hold the pulse button for 5 seconds, rinse, and you are finished!
