Just released at the end of November 2011, the Baratza Virtuoso now boasts the same revolutionary burr set found on the Preciso. This critical upgrade dramatically improves overall grind consistency and eliminates a significant percentage of dusty particles known as fines. With the precise burrs, it is safe to say that this new Virtuoso Grinder offers the best value at this level of grind quality for all home grinders on coffee preparations such as drip, pour over, French Press, syphon/vacuum, Moka, and others. It is well suited for espresso machines which use pressurized portafilters, such as DeLonghi and some Ascaso. The new Virtuoso is still powered by the same motor as the original and includes 40 point adjustment, timer switch, and pulse grinding features.
